no you dont need an icon to get on the front page but most toons do have an icon,
also your work is fine, not a bad first effort, very respectable. you'll get the hang of flash making eventually.

I did like the movie. You should ask the artist that everyone loves for some advice for the icon. Or you can ask Tom Fulp, but i doubt he will answer. Or the artists. 0_0
